Description
At present, there is no legislation regulating the sale of Tuber Macrosporum Vitt., commonly referred to as smooth black truffle, which is inferior to the Tuber Melanosporum Vitt. It is prepared by cutting into very thin slices and grinding to a particular particle size or grade. Despite its use in the production of sauces and pates, our company does not promote these. Extra virgin olive oil is often used as a base along with this type of truffle in a variety of recipes, ranging from meat and wild game, to desserts and cakes, to fresh pasta, vegetables, fish, cereals, eggs, omelets, cheese, honey and saffron.
Our company does not promote the use of Tuber Macrosporum Vitt. in sauces and pates. However, extra virgin olive oil is frequently paired with this type of truffle in many recipes, such as those for meat, wild game, desserts, cakes, fresh pasta, vegetables, fish, cereals, eggs, omelets, cheese, honey and saffron.
